Proper tree care, including planting, pruning and ongoing maintenance, will be the focus of the Fredericksburg Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Texas program Aug. 25 at St. Joseph's Halle.

Texas A&M Forest Service regional urban ecologist Rachel Sarlls will lead the free program.
