BENNINGTON, Oklahoma (KXII) - About 30 years ago, Mickey and Jamie Campbell received life-altering news: they couldn't have kids of their own.

What followed became an "inconceivable journey" that has grown their home in Bennington-to 23 children."I always, from being a little girl, I always wanted to be a mom. That's what I always dreamed of, being a mom," Mickey said.

"I always thought I'd have a house full of kids."Asked if she ever imagined her family would grow this large, Mickey didn't hesitate."No. I expected, you know, I wanted many children, but I didn't ever imagine this," she said.
