A plane crashed in a field near Arp between Arp and Overton on Sunday afternoon with two people on board and injuries reported.

A plane crashed between Arp and Overton on Sunday afternoon.

Two people were reported to be on board.

Smith County Emergency Services reports that the crash occurred in a field off County Road 227 just before 5 p.m. on Sunday.
