LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - The City of Lufkin will adopt an ordinance that will allow it to apply to become a film-friendly town in Texas.
Lufkin officials said that by getting this certification, the city will be promoted through the Texas Film Commission.
Business and property owners can submit their locations on the application, and production companies would be able to quickly identify filming locations and move cast and crew on-site.
