Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run after a woman was struck and killed late Monday night on Little York Road.

At approximately 10:54 p.m., officers with the Houston Police Department and Houston Fire Department responded to the 7901 Little York Road area after receiving a call about a pedestrian who had been struck.

Responding units found a white woman believed to be in her mid-20s lying in the roadway with visible trauma.
