WELLBORN, Texas (KBTX) - The Wellborn Special Utility District issued stage two water restrictions this week as drought conditions worsen.

The district released a new restriction as part of the drought contingency plan.

The goal is to stretch supply and ease demand before the district needs to be concerned about water levels.
