(WXIX/Gray News) - Loved ones and a Kentucky community are mourning a post office worker who was hit and killed by a car while walking earlier this month.

Marchelle Bertram worked at the front desk of the Fort Thomas Post Office for years, helping people who came in.

Sadly, she lost her life in a collision in Bellevue on Oct. 15.
