LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Police say five people were arrested after a multi-agency undercover operation targeting online child exploitation and solicitation in Lubbock.

Operation "Trick or Trap" was conducted Friday, Oct. 23 and was a combined effort between the Lubbock Police Department's Special Operations Unit, the FBI, Homeland Security Investigations, the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office and the Collin County Sheriff's Office.

Police said the objective was to disrupt demand for child sexual exploitation and identify people seeking to exploit children through online solicitation across the South Plains.
