New Braunfels Independent School District has opened applications for the Long Range Sustainability Committee as of Oct. 28.

Applications will be accepted through Nov. 6. The committee will review district data, consider community and staff feedback, explore long-term sustainability scenarios and develop recommendations to help guide the future of the district's facilities and resources, according to a social media post from the district.

Selected applicants will be informed by Nov. 13, and must be able to attend all three scheduled meetings on Nov. 30, Dec. 7 and Dec. 16, the application states.
