TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - If you've driven near downtown Tyler around school pickup time, you've probably noticed what's become a familiar traffic jam for some Tyler parents.

"You need to leave 30 to 45 minutes earlier than you need to to pick your kid up," said Michael Winters, whose child attends Tyler ISD's Caldwell Arts Academy.

Located at East Front Street and College Avenue, the school has two pickup lines in the afternoon.
