After public outcry about privacy concerns with Flock cameras, no new LPR's to be installed on state roads.

According to the Texas Tribune Governor Greg Abbott has directed TXDot to stop issuing permits for Flock cameras and other automated license plate readers.

Cameras already installed along state roadways are not affected.
