LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Volunteer fire departments across the Caprock have created a coloring book called "Caprock Heroes" to help fund their operations.

The book features real firefighters, real fire trucks, and scenes inspired by the towns and landscapes of the participating communities.

The project celebrates the volunteers who serve their communities and helps fund training, equipment, fuel, maintenance and other needs for the departments.
