BROWNSBORO, Texas (KLTV) - The Brownsboro Police Department released a statement about a shooting that occurred in the city on Saturday around 5 p.m. The department stated that there was an officer-involved shooting on Ingram Street, but it has not released any more information on the status of the shooter, any officers who were involved or how the incident started.

The statement said that the Brownsboro Police Department, Henderson County Sheriff's Office and the Department of Public Safety responded to the incident.

The statement also said that there is currently no danger to the public and that the Texas Rangers are on scene and will be taking over the investigation.
