HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- An alleged intruder was shot and killed by a 911 caller in a north Harris County apartment near the Cypress area, according to investigators.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office said they responded to a shooting at an apartment complex off Grant Road, where a man was killed.

HCSO Sgt. Sofia Silva told ABC13 that around 2:30 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a shooting call.
