Power outage in Canyon affecting water pump stations in northern areas

CANYON, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) -- The Canyon Police Department reports that a power outage is affecting Xcel Energy customers in the northern area of Canyon.

According to CPD, the outage is affecting customers in Madison Park and Spring Canyon.

Officials added other areas could also be affected.
