On Monday, Sept. 21, at 6 p.m., a meeting of the Kerrville Independent School District board of directors will be held at the district administration building at 1009 Barnett St. The public meeting will address special education, teaching licenses and certification waivers, the quarterly financial report, elementary campus improvements and an amendment to the approved 2026-27 budget.

Questions about special education in the Kerrville Independent School District were raised at the last public board meeting on Monday, Aug. 17.

At this meeting, Special Education Director Lyn Paulo will give a presentation on how the district complies with federal and state laws, how the program is working for students and recent updates made to the program.
