Together With Hill Country Veterans hosted a ceremony honoring the lives lost during the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, as well as military lives lost in the years following.

"It's hard to believe that 25 years ago today, our nation was attacked on our own soil. Then we had 20 years of combat that followed after 9/11," said Kerrville Councilmember Jeff Harris.

Students and staff, community members, and local leaders packed the Trailhead Beer Garden on Schreiner's campus.
