Billionaire Elon Musk responded to Republicans' historic election losses in Texas and across the country early Wednesday with a sarcastic remark about his political influence.

"Guess my election-interfering space lasers didn't work this time ," Musk wrote on X, the social media platform he owns.

The comment came hours after Democrats won several major statewide races in Texas, ending decades of Republican dominance in a state where Musk has invested heavily in both business and politics.
