Bandera County voters approved two Emergency Services District propositions in the Nov. 3 general election, creating a new funding mechanism for fire protection and emergency medical services in the Medina and Lakehills areas.

The measures passed by different margins.

Bandera County Emergency Services District No. 1 Proposition A received 463 votes in favor and 452 against, passing by just 11 votes.
