SAN MARCOS, Texas - Brad Jackson threw five first-half touchdown passes, Torrance Burgess Jr. had 140 yards rushing and a TD on nine carries, and Texas State beat Incarnate Word 63-10 on Saturday night.

Jackson was 17-of-20 passing for 244 yards with no interceptions before he was replaced midway through the third quarter by freshman Gavin Parkhurst.

After a play-action fake, Jackson hit Beau Sparks down the left sideline for a 63-yard touchdown to open the scoring about 1 1/2 minutes into the game.
