Houston - An adjunct faculty member placed on administrative leave and banned from the University of Houston amid an investigation into allegations involving child sexual exploitation was also removed from classes at Houston City College, according to internal emails obtained by KPRC 2.
The faculty member taught two GOVT 2305 federal government classes at HCC's Central Campus.
In an email sent Friday, an HCC administrator informed college leaders about the allegations and said steps were already being taken to "ensure continuity of instruction and minimize disruption for students." The emails show administrators began working to find replacement instructors for both classes, which meet Mondays and Wednesdays.
