Malakoff ISD Superintendent PJ Winters has resigned after four years to accept a position outside the area, with his resignation effective September 4.

MALAKOFF, Texas (KLTV) - Malakoff ISD Superintendent PJ Winters has submitted his resignation after accepting a new position outside the area, according to a message from the district.
MISD shared the message Thursday, saying Winters resignation was effective Sept. 4.
The district said Winters expressed deep gratitude for his four years at MISD.
