DENISON, Texas (KXII) - This year, former Denison Yellow Jacket Jordan Dunlap is adding a new beat to the Battle of the Ax legacy as Denison's first-ever official gameday DJ."It was just a hobby at first," said Dunlap.
"Something to get a little income in, and then I fell in love with it. To be able to control vibes, and be able to give people memories that they'll never forget."Dunlap, also known as DJ Dun-Nee-D, says he was handpicked by Head Football Coach and Athletic Director Brian Lilly himself, and with 18 years of DJing for corporations like Toyota, weddings and Denison Middle School events, the crowd is in good hands."You can never really take the art of DJing away," said Dunlap.
"It takes a lot of time goes into it and preparation." DJ Dun-Nee-D will be hyping up the crowd, mixing oldies but goldies with today's latest hits.
