Alongside an American Rescue Plan grant, paid parking revenue is supporting accessibility upgrades in downtown New Braunfels.

In May, the New Braunfels City Council approved the first downtown parking revenue reinvestment annual plan.

A committee of Downtown Board members identified pedestrian safety and comfort, an improved parking experience and additional parking supply as three priorities to be funded through the parking revenue, The Herald-Zeitung previously reported.
