The Geneva School of Boerne looked impressive in its season opener Friday night in Hallettsville when the Eagles took on Sacred Heart to open the 2026 season.

Geneva beat Sacred Heart 48-6 to start the season at 1-0.

They'll be in Boerne this coming Friday for their home opener against Natalia, 7 p.m. The Eagles were up 24-0 with 3:25 remaining in the first quarter and took a 48-0 lead into halftime after forcing three turnovers in that first quarter.
