MEDINA, Texas - The Creek View Cougars are the new team on the block in Medina Independent School District, and they're preparing to open the school's inaugural football season.

Head coach Brant Bourquin comes from the Houston area, where he spent six years coaching in Montgomery and another six years at The Woodlands High School.

Bourquin said he looks forward to the competition in District 14-4A Division I, where wins won't come easy.
