LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - Homer Bryce Stadium in Nacogdoches will be the temporary home stadium for the Lufkin Panthers football team in 2027, according to Lufkin Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Carl Abseck.
At the end of the 2026 season, Abe Martin Stadium will be demolished and a new stadium will be built at the same location.
The new stadium is expected to be ready to play at by the 2028 season.
