LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - When the Wallace Theater reopened in September 2025, it was a sign of hope in Levelland.

Now, it's been able to give residents a chance to see the best entertainment the area can provide."I look back on it and it is a blur, but it was one of the best moments of my life."Alycyn Keeling, the theater's executive director, is describing how she felt the night of the Wallace's grand reopening on September 20th, 2025.

Her father, George, purchased the location in 2002, but it took another 23 years to finally see the theater reach its full potential."For so many people, they had been watching and been a part of the progress," Keeling said.
