The Lakehills Area Library has announced its September schedule of programs and events, including book clubs, a plant sale, a book sale, a jewelry- buying fundraiser and programs for children and adults.

The library will host an Alamo RCD Senior Social from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3. Registration is required.

The library's Book Barn will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, for the monthly book sale.
