Candice Gilmore has joined the staff of the Taylor Press and its sister papers the Elgin Courier and Manor Journal as the new Central Texas Group area sports editor.

"Folks in east Williamson County, Bastrop County and Manor will be seeing a lot of Candice in the weeks ahead. We're really happy to bring her onboard and we know she'll deliver when it comes to covering sports and outdoors," said Emily Treadway, area editor.
