HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- This week, the Houston Police Department has been at the center of multiple attention-grabbing stories.

From officers going viral for asking an Uber driver to help them chase an alleged violent suspect, to the chief skipping a city council meeting on HPD's involvement with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency.
