LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - The Lubbock County Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing 38-year-old man who was last seen Wednesday evening west of Lubbock.

Authorities say Brantly Slocum, who has Down syndrome, was last seen at his home around 6 p.m. on Oct. 7, near North County Road 1500 and County Road 6400.

Slocum is believed to be traveling west on foot.
