(WAFB/Gray News) - A man accused of firing a shot at high school students during a homecoming prank says he feared for his safety and did not know the people outside his home were teenagers.

Josiah Arrington was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a firearm following the incident Tuesday night, Oct. 6, at the Riverboat Trailer Park in Addis.

According to the police chief, the teenagers were participating in homecoming festivities when they mistakenly went to Arrington's home, believing it belonged to a friend.
