WACO, Texas (KWTX) - A 29-year-old woman was charged with injury to a child after an infant suffered a skull fracture in Central Texas, according to an arrest affidavit.

Caitlyn McClain was booked into the McLennan County Jail over the weekend but has since been released on bond.

According to the document, a Waco police detective was called to Providence Hospital's neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) on June 3, in reference to a 7-week-old who had a visible injury on the left side of the skull.
