Bond set for student accused of school threat against IDEA Elsa

A 17-year-old student was arrested in Elsa, Texas for making a terroristic threat against IDEA Elsa school and was released on bond the same day.

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) - A student has been released from custody following an alleged threat against IDEA Elsa.

Christopher Alessandro Ayala, 17, was arrested by the Elsa Police Department on Wednesday and charged with terroristic threat causing serious bodily injury.

Hidalgo County jail records show that Ayala was released the same day of his arrest.
