The New Braunfels City Council made their appointments and finalized the number of members for the charter review commission on Oct. 12.

Applications were collected from Aug. 28 through Sept. 18, and each member chose one appointee from their district.

Mayor Michael French's selection is Robert King, District 1 Councilmember Toni Carter appointed Marty Hiles, District 2 Mayor Pro Tem Michael Capizzi appointed Haley Furlow, District 3 Councilmember D. Lee Edwards appointed James Vaughn, District 4 Councilmember Lawrence Spradley appointed Jay Hogue, District 5 Councilmember Mary Ann Labowski appointed Jacob Sanchez, and District 6 Councilmember Nikki Shaw appointed Caroline Christian.
