Construction on a series of pedestrian accessibility improvements along U.S. Highway 281 is scheduled to begin Monday, Aug. 10, state transportation officials announced.

Initial work begins with immediate ramp closures along State Highway 97.

The SH 97 southbound ramp is closed tonight, Aug. 9, with the northbound ramp set to close tomorrow, Aug. 10. Crews will next transition work to Coughran Road, followed by Leal Road.
