COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - The Rotary Club of College Station gave 50 children $150 each in shopping credits for back-to-school clothes Saturday as part of its second annual Summer Clothing for Kids event.

Dozens of children and their families filled a College Station Target for the giveaway, which the club described as an annual tradition.'Highlight of the year'"It's one of our long-running traditions, and it's one that all of our members look forward to. It's our highlight of the year for us," said Bob Brick, president of the Rotary Club of College Station.

Brick said the credits are intended to help families cover the cost of clothing ahead of the new school year."We provide $150 worth of shopping credits for kids and their parents to shop for back-to-school clothes. This is a way in which our club can help give back to the community," Brick said.
