KATY, Texas (KTRK) -- Katy ISD has deployed cleaning robots at 17 of its schools after struggling to find enough people to fill custodial positions.

District officials say they are short 100 custodians districtwide.

"I think it has something to do with having plenty of jobs out in this area," Chris Elliot, Katy ISD media relations manager, said.
