Knights of Columbus Council 9765 will host its 17th annual Bestfest on Saturday, Oct. 17, at Marktplatz.

"This will be our 17th year of Bestfest, and with the help of our members and volunteers, we've been able to put together a great one-day festival. We've been blessed with good weather and great guests for the last few years, and we're hoping this year will be no different," event chairman John Eilers said.

"One thing we're proud of is that we're known as a family-friendly event. Mom & Dad are still able to enjoy great Texas sausage with some of the best craft beers around while the kids can run around and have a good time," Eilers said.
