Proposed I-14 route could "destroy" former Kurten mayors 150-year-old land

A proposed I-14 interstate route through Kurten, Texas could threaten 150-year-old family land owned by former mayor Ronnie Vitulli.

KURTEN, Texas (KBTX) - Ronnie Vitulli says his family has worked this land since 1880.

Now, he fears a proposed interstate could take it all away.

Vitulli served as mayor of Kurten from 2008 to 2018.
