HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A homicide investigation is underway after a man was found shot to death at a motel in north Harris County on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

According to HCSO, deputies responded just before 12 p.m. to a report of a man being found shot at a motel on 13611 Rankin Cir.

W. Investigators say that the man was transported by a witness in a private vehicle to a hospital.
