HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A new report from city and county health leaders revealed the biggest challenges keeping people in Houston and Harris County from getting the health care they need.

The 2026 Access to Care Report from Harris County Public Health and the Houston Health Department took a closer look at barriers like affordability and the challenges patients face even after they find a provider.

The report found that simply finding care is one of the biggest obstacles.
