The City of Kerrville Public Works Department is notifying motorists that the traffic signal at the intersection of Holdsworth Boulevard and Cailloux Boulevard is operating on a temporary timing sequence due to a malfunction with the vehicle detection and monitoring system.

Under the temporary timing mode, the traffic signal operates on a set sequence rather than detecting vehicles and adjusting signal timing based on traffic conditions.

Motorists may notice the signal cycling through red and green lights even when no vehicles are present on the intersecting roadway.
