A man was detained early Thursday after a stabbing at an East Side apartment complex, according to San Antonio police.

Officers responded to the stabbing around 3:10 a.m. in the 1800 block of Lamar Street, which is located near North Walters Street.

The man approached another man at the apartment complex and stabbed him in the arm, officers said.
