COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - College Station ISD says it isn't worried about a new state review of school spending, because it's already done the math.
Texas Comptroller Don Huffines announced this week he's launching a performance review of four randomly selected school districts, checking whether tax dollars are reaching classrooms or being absorbed by administrative offices.
The review will exclude districts led by state-appointed boards and will examine districts of varying size and geographic location across Texas.
