WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Waco first responders are making a final push to replenish local blood supplies as the annual "Battle of the Badges" blood drive enters its final two days.

The Waco Police Department, Waco Fire Department, and McLennan County Sheriff's Office have partnered with Carter BloodCare for the competitive drive, which runs through Saturday, Aug. 29.

Community members who donate blood can vote for their favorite public safety department, with the winning agency claiming bragging rights and a traveling trophy.
