WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Interstate 35 is open once again following a weekend closure, but drivers in Waco will notice a major piece of local infrastructure is gone.

Crews demolished the Valley Mills flyover bridge on Saturday, Aug. 8, as part of the ongoing "My35" construction project.

While the highway was expected to remain closed through early Sunday morning, workers finished ahead of schedule and reopened all lanes Saturday night.
