CIBOLO, Texas - Before Steele High School football players take the field, a few moments of music help set the tone for the night.
Known simply as "The Walkout," the pregame tradition has been part of the Knights' identity for nearly two decades.
It began with former Steele head football coach Mike Jinks watching the 1981 medieval fantasy film "Excalibur." A piece of music during a scene showing Knights preparing for battle caught his attention.
