A man is dead and his son is in custody following a stabbing at a home in northwest Harris County on Thursday afternoon, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to a residence on Stone Side Drive, near Queenstone Boulevard, following reports of a violent disturbance.

Upon arrival, law enforcement officers found the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
